Some folders are backed up and can be used to store important data, others are not backed up and should be used to store temporary files only.
Recommendations for use

/shared folder
You are welcome to store data and repositories that might be beneficial for several projects in the /shared/-folder. For any suggestions, mail tsd-drift@usit.uio.no
Unsupported folders names
You are free to create folders and subfolders in /tsd/pXX/data/durable and /tsd/pXX/data/no-backup. Please notice however that Windows does not support folder named similar to the MS-DOS Device Drivers like "aux", "con", "nul" etc. Please do not use these names for your folders.
