Course description
Course content
The Master`s thesis is an independent scientific work, conducted under supervision, within one of the pharmaceutical disciplines. The thesis corresponds to one and a half semesters of full-time study, 45 credits, and is completed during the last year of the study programme. Through the Master project, you will be affiliated with one of the research groups at the Institute or an external research group.
Regulations concerning the Master’s thesis are specified in?Rules on Courses, Course Groups and Degrees in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
Learning outcome
After completing the course, you can:
- Contribute to knowledge development within your field of specialisation.
- Make critical and reflective choices among key methods and current tools within the relevant scientific field.
- Conduct an independent, defined research or development project under supervision and in accordance with current ethical norms in?research.

The Master’s thesis is a compulsory part of the 5-year Master’s Programme in?Pharmacy and requires admission to the programme.
