Join us for a workshop hosted by the dScience Partner Program and DNV, where we delve into the critical role of industry collaboration in achieving a successful Twin Transition. This workshop will focus on the integration of digital transformation and sustainability—emphasising on how artificial intelligence (AI), can be harnessed to address pressing industrial challenges while advancing sustainability goals.
Through expert talks, interactive group work, and collaborative discussions, we will explore the opportunities and risks associated with AI in industry and discuss how to ensure trust and accountability in AI-enabled systems.
Less than 10% of PhD candidates will reach a full professorship and the reward for reaching that position can be long hours, high administrative burden and funding uncertainty. By comparison, more than 20% of university spinout companies become viable companies. The scientific founders get to see their technology make a difference in the real world and some even get rich in the process! Find out if an innovation career is for you (don’t worry if it isn’t) and how Digital Life Norway can help. We also offer a postdoc industry internship and have a well-run and popular Research School you can join if you are focused on biotechnology.
NORA.ai (Norwegian AI Research Consortium) is a consortium of 17 universities and research institutes with the shared goal to advance research, education and innovation in the field of AI, ML and robotics in Norway.
During this interactive session NORA.ai will give an overview of the AI landscape in Norway and on a global level and discuss the role academia and research play in advancing and applying AI across different sectors. NORA.ai will map out the opportunities available to young researchers through the various programmes, activities and initiatives led by NORA Research School and NORA.startup (NORA’s innovation network of researchers and startups)
We welcome companies looking for summer interns to a digital information meeting about the Momentum internship program.
Three workshops will be organized for potential applicants to new convergence environments. At least one person from each project must attend one workshop in order to apply.
An introduction to tools, techniques, and strategies for a more effective and efficient management of postdoctoral projects.

The high yearly production of scientific literature results in difficult decision: which of the many studies should we trust? The aim of the course is to equip you with knowledge and skills to critically appraise methodological quality of an article.
Get a fundamental understanding of how to use Python programming and an introduction to simpler tools such as Voyant and DH-Lab apps to text mine corpora.
When writing an academic text it is important that you know how to cite your sources. This course teaches basic referencing techniques such as quoting a text, writing citations and reference lists, and using images.
Programming with Python is essential in many fields, but navigating packages, environments, and Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) can be challenging. This workshop is designed for those starting with Python or struggling with these aspects. It simplifies the process, providing practical guidance and hands-on activities to help participants confidently manage their Python setup and workflow.
Join us for our weekly lunch seminar in the dScience lounge with Kristin Brunk. She will share insights from 45 years of citizen science data on the bluethroat’s breeding distribution across Fennoscandia, exploring how this iconic alpine bird responds to climate change. Brunk will also discuss innovative bioacoustic research and opportunities for collaboration with data scientists.
