The Unwritten Rules of Working with Norwegians: Coffee & Compromise

You’ve landed a job in Norway — congrats! But now what?
What to expect from a Norwegian leader?
When is it acceptable to schedule a work meeting?
How do you give feedback without accidentally offending everyone?

This workshop reveals the written and unwritten rules of the Norwegian workplace — from the coffee rituals to the art of polite disagreement — so you can work smarter (and happier) with your Norwegian colleagues.

Facilitator: Lorelou Desjardins is a cultural expert, author, and lawyer with over 15 years of experience working in Norway. She has trained thousands of employees and leaders on how to successfully navigate Norwegian workplaces. Combining her legal background and cultural insights, Lorelou helps participants understand both their rights and the unwritten rules of working with Norwegians.

This workshop is open to everyone, including UiO employees. To sign up, fill in the form below. Note that there are only 20 spots, and we are operating by the "early bird gets the worm" principle. We have a waiting list and will be keeping track of attendance, so it is very important that you inform us if you are not able to attend after all.
