Today we completed Section 3.3 (a priori error estimates). We will skip Section 3.4 and Chapter 4. Next time we begin with systems (Chapter 5).
Exercises: 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6.
No lecture on Wednesday 26. March. First lecture after Easter is Thursday 27. March.
Easter: There will be no lectures in week 12.
Exam: The exam will be held on May 29th and May 30th if the student number requires it. If however the student number allows it the exam will be held on May 30th only. More information will follow later in the semester.
Exercises: 1.5a, 1.6, 1.7, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3.
There will be no lecture on Thur. 24. Jan. (next lecture is Wed. 23. Jan.).
Starting next week, we have moved the lecture on Wednesday from 14:15-16:00 to 12:15-14:00, the new lecture room is B1036. Next week we start with "scalar conservation laws", Chapters 1,2.
