Projects and Exams
(Final note from Dino)
It is not only you who feel uneasiness and insecurity when at the beginning of the semester we step into the 'creative space' and begin working on the projects. I too share the same concerns. Are we going in the right direction? Will the results be any good? But now that the projects are there, I am glad and inspired to see that all of you have taken up the challenge, as well as the pleasure, of being creative. Congratulations for the good work!
Your projects are intended to serve as study material for the final exam. Please use them! On the oral exam I will be asking questions which will allow you to show that you have been studying the projects.
The oral exams next week will take place in Styrerommet on Ifi as scheduled. This Friday exceptionally the exams will be in Store Auditorium.
On the oral exam we will have the Internet connection...

Oral exam instructions
INF4210/3210 ORAL EXAM INSTRUCTIONS
By now all the groups should have chosen a half-hour time slot for the oral exam by using the online reservation system provided on the course website. The rooms for the exams will be allocated soon by Ifi administration.
All the members of the group will take the oral exam together.
A computer with Internet connection will be provided on the exam. It is also possible to bring your own PC if you suspect something may not work.
Each group will have ten minutes to show the project and 15 minutes for questions and answers.
Keep in mind that ten minutes is a very short time. When showing your project it is important to be efficient. First explain clearly what you have done and what you have learned:

- May 24, 26, 27, 28: Oral exams.

Ten minute project presentation followed by twenty minutes of questions and answers, both about the project and about information-design

Since we do not have anymore material planned for the group lessons, we will now be available for guidance and help during group lessons.
The first hour of the group sessions, we will be discussing general questions in a common forum. While the second hour is set for individual/group guidance.
