Friday 06.03 1215-1400 Problem Set 06 with solutions

The problems to be discussed on Friday 6 March deal with fluctuations and with the differences between the classical and quantum statistics. They are 4.24 (repeat), 5.5, 5.7 and 5.9+1.4 in the booklet. 

Hint for 5.9: Start with the binomial distribution. Then use N1<<N and do a clever approximation of N! to get the Poisson distribution, and work with that for the rest of the problem.
