Week 44: Lectures: BL chapter 10, Exercizes: 8-6a, 8-7c. Derive the NGP dispersion relation for finite size particles and grid effects for a cold non-drifting plasma, starting with eq. 8-11(8). Compare with the corresponding CIC result.

Week 42 and 43: Lectures: Finish Birdsall & Langdon chapter 8 during week 42. No lecture in week 43. Exercize: Do the complete Cold Plasma Oscillation project described in section 5-4. Write a report documenting your finding, including necessary figures. Deadline October 31.
