How to delete IMAP setup for Apple Mail on macOS

Two-factor authentication is required for email at UiO. From 1 May 2023, IMAP will only be available for machines on UiO's wired and wireless networks.

To still be able to read e-mail with Apple Mail, you must use Apple Mail with Exchange after this date.

Delete IMAP setup

1. Go to System Settings... and select Internet Accounts from the menu on the left.
   
   
    
2. Select the entry for your IMAP setup for UiO (blue icon with @)
3. In the window for your IMAP setup, click the Delete Account... button.
