The Department of Economics is currently reviewing the study programs, with the aim of improving the programs. In this process we would greatly benefit from feedback from the students.

We would therefore ask you to spend a short amount of time to respond to questions about the courses given in 2016.

I promised you comments after the weekend.  I am not able to deliver.  I am travelling to Sweden tomorrow and returning Thursday.  I am bringing your assignments along and will be ready with comments on Friday.  Sorry.  

One part of the exam will be questions related to one of the papers that are on the syllabus.  Only the paper for the lectures are relevant, not the seminar papers.

As you will see there is now a complete lecture plan out, with what to read to each lecture.  Compared to the tentative plan I have taken away one topic, and decided to use two lectures on disability insurance.  

I got a complaint that the information that the midterm assignment was voluntary came late.  I am sorry for that.  I am also sorry for the fact that the correct paper for the last lecture of Thor Olav Thoresen was not announced ahead of the lecture.  It was a misunderstanding between me and Thor Olav.  

The midterm assignment is out.  It asks you to discuss part of the paper on tax salience by Chetty Looney and Kroft (AER).  This is a good opportunity to  to try out an example of how part of the exam will be (as announced before one part of the exam will be to discuss part of one of the papers that we have used in the lectures.  I will give feed back on your answers. 

We have to postpone the first seminar until 22. September.  I have been busy with an application to the RCN, and have therefore not given the first presenters sufficient information to prepare.
