Curriculum for the calculus of variations and optimal control theory: after quite a bit of thought / research / discussion / feedback I've settled on the book "Optimal control theory..." in English by Seierstad and Sydsaeter. The advantage of this is that all the course material is then in English, making the course accessible to both Norwegian and foreign students.
