Hei p? dere.

Som jeg informerte om p? fredag s? synes vi at dere har jobbet veldig bra, ogs? med siste prosjekt. De aller fleste er i m?l, og vi har valgt ? si ?vel bl?st? eller hva det n? heter. Alle har n? f?tt godkjent kurset.

Mange har eksamener i andre kurs n? og vi lar prosjekt 3C v?re frivillig. De som vil CNC frese f?r gj?re det. Labben vil v?re ?pen i noen uker framover + til h?sten (for INF4500 studenter), og har dere en del dere vil lage er det bare ? si i fra til matsh@ifi.uio.no, eller ?yvind, evt. T?nnes s? s? vi p? saken i lag. Freser p? labben kan dere ogs? bruke ogs? uten ? si i fra, men pass p? ? ikke ?delegge ting, inkludert dere selv :) 

Det ble mange flotte roboter i ?r, og jeg jobber med ? oppdatere HOF siden. Diplomer kommer ogs? snart.

1) Midimill is ready for use with foam.

2) ?yvind is refreshing the Robinrouter to 2.5mm pitch (faster)

3) The ISEL router may be available for suitable (very small) projects in aluminium or plastic. (Only operated by Mats) (Will not use the 3B machine controller)

Due to many software problems:

2C : you can just submitt the *.obj file from Blender (no SolidWorks import)

(but then you loose some of the fun)

You can try to use software OpenGL:

in plenum will be as scheduled 30.mars.

Minimum 1 member of each group must make a short presentation of the

1) SolidWorks files for the silicone cast,

2) SolidWorks files of full robot assembly

3) Video of assembly simulation

Presentations wlll be based on Devilry file submissions

Due to printer hardware problems this year we have set a new deadline for project:

1D part 2,3

1E part 1,2

1F part 1

to 13. april, time: 10.15 at the expert panel demonstration

The deadline for 1A, 1B,1C and 1D part 1 is today 29.3

All print to the Fortus machine must be submitted today. (Only spare parts can be submitted later)

Needless to say: all robots must be able to walk/jump/whatever at the expert panel demonstration.

For those of you that made it to the original deadline: CONGRATULATIONS, you have now deserved the "free time". You are noticed. 

Due to some printer meltdown problems, the Objet printer will be used if the 
Ultimakers are occupied. 

Just mail the STL files to the TA (next week: Georgi, since ?yvind will be away)

You can use the transparent boxes labeled with your group numbers in the locker at the ROBIN lab

The card writers in the PCs at ROBIN lab is not working (missing correct drivers)

We will use the mobile reader/writer at the lab

If you can meet at both intervals (12-14) / (14-16), please flip a coin and choose one of the intervals at random. We will then see how crowdy it will be and if we need to make a reservation list or not.

It is good if you can bring your own laptop with you (not a requirement)
