A new version of the lecture notes of Valerie Maupin has been uploaded. Several typos have been corrected.

On Thursday 29 November all lecturers will be present from 09:15 to 10:00 to respond to your questions, and to sum up the esssential moments of the curriculum.
From 10:15 to 12:00 Fritz Albregtsen will give the lecture on "Medical Imaging" that was canceled last thursday.

A pdf-file containing a solution to the first compulsory exercise is now available.
There will be a demo of steering and focusing of ultrasound (40 kHz in air) on Thursday 8. November, 14.15. Also this will be an opportunity to ask questions regarding exercise no 2.
The second compulsory exercise has been uploaded to "Exercises" under "Course material". The compulsory exercise (Obligatorisk oppgave) must be completed before midnight Monday 12. November.
The lectures covering seismic imaging (Nov. 1 and 8) are moved to the Geology building (Sem S?landsvei 1), room 007 (Visionary).
A set of weekly exercises to replace the cancelled spectrometer demo is now uploaded to "Exercises". The file name for these exercises is "exercise-remotesensing.pdf". This is not compulsory/obligatorisk exercise.

The planned demonstration for Thursday Sept. 17 of how a hyperspectral instrument works must be cancelled due to problems with the spectrometer. A set of practical exercises working with hyperspectral images will be found on course web pages soon.
