There is no lecture on Monday November 18th. We start the group lecture on Thursday November 21st at 10:00 with a INF9063 student presentation.

The group lecture on GPU programming on November 7th starts at 10:00

It seems like the build tools behave differently this year, making the linking of C63 break on the gpu-machines. We've now changed the order of the LDFLAGS so that everything compiles correctly. Please pull the changes.

The foreman sequence found on the xiph.org website is not identical to the one we are using in this course, so encoding/decoding this video with the given parameters will produce an incorrect output.

We have stored the correct sequence on oslo.ndlab.net in the /opt/cipr directory. Each group should have received login information.

Home Exam 1 is now out. The test machines at Simula will be made availible later this week.

Tomorrow's lecture is postponed until Monday Sep. 2nd, same day as we hand out the exam.

In INF5063 Home Exams are delivered in groups of two students. If you already have a group, send an e-mail to inf5063 (at) ifi with the name and username of the group members.

The code that implements MJPEG that vas shown in the lecture today can be found here. While there is no assignments using this code in INF5063, it is recommended to read through the code and try to understand the concepts.

The precode for the home exams will be made available after the lecture on Monday August 26th.

The first lecture in INF5063 will be on Monday August 19th.
