IN5590 - Portfolio

Soldering and making a case for the electronics

The students could select from four different electronics kits, to make a Simon says, Electronic dice, Reaction game or a Stop me game. Moreover, they made a case for the prototype to protect the electronics.

See the results here.

Finite element method

In the second and third and last assignment before the project, the students got to develop their skills in SolidWorks by getting familiar with Finite element method(FEM), rendering tools and creating technical drawings.

The students got to print the part and we put them into a hydraulic press to see who made the strongest part.

The main project

In the main project, the students will get to use all their aquired skills. They were presented with a variaty of different topics they could choose from, and they even had the possibility to define their own project. The project phase of IN5590 spans over a 1 1/2 months and culumenats into a public demo of their prototypes.

In the following table you can get an overview of their projects. If you click on the images you can get more details.
