The GEG2130 examination will be oral and take place on 12 and 13 December 2011. The examination will be individual and consist of 1) an oral discussion of excursion and field reports, followed by 2) an oral examination in the reading list. Please see the english lecture plan for further details.

As Karianne already have given lectures on how to structure written reports, there will be no GEG2130 lectures on Wednesday 12 October. However, the lectures on 13 October will go as planned.
The lectures September 22 will go as planned, but with another theme. Instead of Jon Ove Hagen lecturing on glaciology, Karianne S. Lille?ren will give a talk on report writing, standards and practical advice. This lecture was originally scheduled to October 12, and has high relevance for you excursion report writing.
The lectures by Jakob Fjellanger on September 21 will go as planned.
Lectures 14 September will be given by Professor Hanne H. Christiansen (UNIS), who will talk about "Permafrost in the Nordic Countries". There will be no lectures the following day (15 September).
The first two lectures will be given by dr. Jakob Fjellanger. This will take place Wednesday and Thursday (September 7 and 8) in seminar room III 10:15-12:00, at ground level in the geoscience building. The theme will be the geological background for understanding long-term landform development in Norway. Dr. Fjellanger is a geomorphologist working at the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE, http://www.nve.no/en/).
