Hi all,

Please leave your Stroplsj?dalen reports in my or any other GEG2130-teacher's post box in the Sekret?riat room, 1st floor, Geology building. Thank you.

Also, we have decided to move the oral exams from week 44 to week 45. There will still be no lectures in week 44, and the lectures in week 45 will be given as planned. A list of where and when the oral exams will take place will be sent to you as soon as this is ready.

I am sorry about this change, but this turned out to be the best solution since we are one lecturer short in this course.

Project report: In week 40 you do not have any lectures, and it would be a good idea to use that time for the project report. Jon Tolgensbakk (room 324, 3rd floor) will be available for questions and practical help. All photos and maps will be left in a box in room 315, and here you will also find the mirror stereoscopes. You can use room 315 as much as you want, but please put everything back into their places after use.

Good luck! KSL

Those of you that still have not handed in your excursion reports should do so immediately. I want to remind you that the deadline was Friday Sept. 18th unless other dates were specifically agreed upon. You can either send it to me by e-mail, or leave it in my post box in the "Sekret?riat" room in the 1st floor of the Geology building.

Please e-mail me if you have any questions. KSL

Change of plans for the lecture tomorrow (Friday 18th Sept). We will do a few exercises where you identify, describe and interpret landforms on aerial photos. This will be a good preparation for the semester work on Stroplsj?dalen presented to you next week. We will probably stay both in Auditorium 3 and in the GIS-lab (room 315, 3rd floor), but we will meet in Auditorium 3 as usual. Karianne
