Hot off the press---problem set 4!

We've just been moved to Room 8 today. That's the one where we were before, with the table and large board.

Pal Erik will have a problem session tomorrow at 3pm in room 7, right after Straaling.

Class in Room 8 tomorrow (Room 7 is busy).

Meeting at 10:15 tomorrow with Pal Erik. I have a PhD defense (we'll make up the class later on).

Due to popular demand, you can hand in the problem set on Friday.

You can assume there is no mean flow (U=0,V=0) in problem 3 (the topographic wave problem).

The group leader is Pal Erik Isachsen (tel. 22 96 33 41). He sits on the third floor in CIENS, to the left if you're facing the door out. If you have questions about the problem set, you can talk to him or to me.

Problem set 2 will be due on Oct. 8 (instead of the 5th). If you're having trouble getting the class notes using the link under Firefox, try Opera instead.
