!!IMPORTANT NOTICE:!! To be eligible for the exam you must have completed FOUR COMPUTER PROBLEMS. They also have to be APPROVED. Please BRING them with you to the exam. Without them we will NOT start the examination.

An upgraded and partly corrected version of the Lecture notes is now available. There are still some missing parts and there are also some paragraphs that are left in Norwegian. Bur we are getting there ....

The formal lectures are now completed. We are no open for questions during the regular lecture hours. No question time on Monday next week (24.11), but please show up on Wednesday the 26th when Thor Erik will be available for questions. Lars Petter is out of the office whole of next week.

Note!! Thor Erik is away next week, but Lars Petter will answer questions. So we expect everyone to be there!!

An upgraded version of the the Computer problems is now available The upgrade is due to the detection of a major misprint in eq. 37 of Computer Problem No. 5. Note also an addition to the same problem.

An upgraded version of the Computer problems is now available. Note that it includes more than the four problems you are required to solve. The obligatory problems to solve are nos. 1, 2, 3 and 5. More problems will be added in the future.

No lecture on October 31 (Wednesday). Thor Erik and Lars Petter will both be out of office.

Please find an updated version of the Lecture notes. It is now partly in English, but a major part of the text is still in Norwegian. New chapters and sections have been added in accord with what has been lectured. LPR
