Here's a list of lecture notes that we went through in class, supplementing Vallis' book:

The final oral examination will be held on 12 June via Zoom.

The first obligatory assignment can be downloaded here.

The assignment is quite extensive so I do expect and encourage you to collaborate. But I want all to write their own report. The deadline for turning this in will be 1 April.

Don't hesitate to ask me (or PhD student Marta Trodahl) if you have any questions.

Attendance at the first lecture is compulsory. This also applies to students, at the waiting list for the course. Students who fail to meet, are considered to have withdrawn from the course unless they have previously given notice to the Student administration (studieinfo@geo.uio.no).
