A set of suggested solutions to the final exam are posted at http://folk.uio.no/hdahle/AST4320_Final_Solutions_Fall2013.pdf
Note that the some of the explanations given in this solutions set are somewhat more detailed than strictly required to get a top score on a given problem.
The final problem set of this semester, for the problem solving session on Tuesday, December 10th, is last year's exam for this course: http://folk.uio.no/hdahle/AST4320_eksamen_endelig_2012.pdf
Max will be attending a workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 26th, so the last group session is postponed until Tuesday December 10th. The Tuesday lecture will be held as normal on Nov. 26th.

The last part of the course (starting from the lectures last week) is well covered by this set of lecture notes, sections 1-6. Section 7-10 is not part of this course:
The slides from the lectures on AGN and on galaxy clusters are available at http://folk.uio.no/hdahle/AST4320_AGN.pdf and http://folk.uio.no/hdahle/AST4320_Clusters.pdf
I am basing my lectures on gravitational lensing on the lecture notes by Narayan and Bartelmann, http://folk.uio.no/hdahle/JeruLect.pdf
Sections 1 - 3.5.3 (with the exception of sections 2.2.2 - 2.3) will be part of the curriculum for this course instead of section 7.4 in the textbook.
In addition, these lectures notes on mass mapping will be part of the curriculum: http://folk.uio.no/hdahle/massmapping.pdf
On Thursday 31.10 I am giving a talk for "Faglig-pedagogisk dag" at 12:00 so we need to shift the time of the lecture to 13:15-15:00.
We meet in "Peisestua" (which will be vacant by then).
The solutions to the mid-term exam problems are now posted at http://folk.uio.no/hdahle/Solutions_Midterm_AST4320_Fall2013.pdf
Due to the mid-term exam, the group session scheduled for October 8th is moved to Friday, October 4th at 14:15.
There are no new problems for this group session; they session will focus on the problems already given.
The mid-term exam will cover the material in Sparke & Gallagher up to, and including, section 5.4, with the exception of sections 3.3, and 4.3-4.5. Sections 1.4-1.5, 5.1.1, and 5.2.1 are assumed to contain background knowledge from previous courses and will not be explicitly lectured and tested in this course. It is in any case recommended to read these sections, if you are unfamiliar with some of the content.
