Specialization and courses

You may choose between four different specializations.

The different specializations have recommended courses within information security, but you may also choose other courses. The specializations have no mandatory courses, however at least half of the ECTs must be from the core courses. (Please note that students who started before 2021 can choose freely from both core courses and recommended courses). 

You choose courses in your first semester in consultation with your supervisor, based on your academic interests and theme for the master's thesis. Please note that some courses might have certain bachelor courses as admission requirements. 

You can choose to write either a long thesis or short master's thesis. If you choose a short thesis, you must write your master's thesis in the last semester.
