Do you have an idea in life sciences that could help solve health challenges for humans or animals? Then you can apply for admission to UiO:Life Science's innovation programme SPARK Norway to further develop the idea into new technology, treatment or solution.

Are you a master's or professional student and interested in a career in innovation and entrepreneurship? Then you should check out the honours certificate in Life Science Innovation.

The application deadline is 15 October. 

Connect in the Life Science Building

Are you going to move to the Life Science building? Do not miss this opportunity to meet neighbours and co-workers and learn about facilities and activities at your new workplace. 

Time and place: 21 November at Blindern.  

Norwegian Centennial Chair Program

Apply for mini-grants to further develop or establish new collaborations. Researchers can apply for up to 25,000 USD for activities that support the programme's goals, such as research visits or joint workshops.

Priority research areas include circular bioeconomy and sustainability, global health and One Health, food security, biomedical innovation, as well as artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to these fields. Other topics may also be considered.

The convergence environment Societal and environmental determinants of brain and cognition (AHeadForLife) is supported by UiO:Life Science and led by Anders Martin Fjell, Professor and Head of Centre for Lifespan Changes in Brain and Cognition. 

The convergence environment has also published a research briefing i Nature Medicine Education does not affect memory decline or brain aging.
