Updated support schemes

UiO:Life Science is looking forward to a new operational period and a new strategy adopted for 2025-2029. In this context, our support schemes have been updated. Some have also had their grant amounts increased. Completely new is a one-time call for stimulation funds for FRIPRO applications that we are launching now.

UiO:Livsvitenskap has, since its establishment in 2015, offered support schemes for various purposes. We have now updated the conditions of our support schemes. The most important changes are summarized below.

Incentive funding for FRIPRO-applications

To encourage more applications within life sciences to the Research Council of Norway, we have established a completely new scheme: stimulation funds for FRIPRO applications. The support can be provided in two stages—initially for writing the application and subsequently for further development of the project.

Event support

The grant amount has been increased from NOK 50,000 to NOK 100,000.

Internationalization

The grant amount has been increased to NOK 100,000. We have also introduced a new category for visiting researchers who will come to UiO for a shorter stay.

Life science course development support

The courses seeking support may be included in the portfolio offered through the Circle U Open Campus program.
