FRIPRO Funds to Dennis van der Meer
Postdoctoral researcher Dennis van der Meer and colleagues receive eight million kroner from the FRIPRO program Researcher Project for Young Talents. He will investigate the connection between psychosis and cardiometabolic diseases.

In 1971, she became Norway’s first female professor of medicine. Now, Kirsten Kjelsberg Osen is appointed Knight of the 1st Class of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Ol for her contributions to medical research.

But what happens when postpartum genital issues overshadow the joy, and you can't get clear answers about what's wrong?
Klinmed: A World-Leading Centre for translational research on coeliac disease. Over its six years, the K.G. Jebsen Centre for Coeliac Disease Research has established itself as a world leader in translational research on coeliac disease, developed several new diagnostic tools, and initiated multiple clinical studies.
Helsam: Putting the Patient Before the System (link in Norwegian). "We find that employees go to great lengths to meet the patient's individual needs; they break regulations, disregard formal decisions, and expose themselves to risk," says PhD candidate and lead author of a major new study, Cecilie Knagenhjelm Hertzberg.
Universitetsplassen: Is social exclusion a democratic problem that starts in childhood? (in Norwegian) Monica Haune, specialist psychologist and PhD candidate at MED, contributed to the interdisciplinary symposium organised by Oslo Science City and the Faculty of Dentistry. She has researched "Interdisciplinary Health Mapping for Children under the Care of Child Welfare Services."
