Conclusion and Evaluation

It is natural to evaluate the onboarding process in the final onboarding meeting. Onboarding meetings are then replaced by regular one-to-one work dialogue. Additionally, for some employee groups, there may be requirements that the leader needs to follow up on, such as language requirements and pedagogical basic competence.

Evaluation

The purpose of the evaluation is:

  • To receive feedback from new employees on how onboarding has worked and gather suggestions for improvements.
  • To identify reasons for any undesirable turnover.

One-to-one Work Dialogue

A one-to-one work dialogue is a planned, systematic, and personal conversation between the employee and the leader. As a leader, you have the primary responsibility for planning and conducting employee discussions. The employee is obligated to prepare and contribute to the implementation

Key Activities this Period:

  • Evaluate onboarding.
  • Follow up on language requirements.
  • Follow up on requirements for university pedagogy.
  • Provide information about professor promotions.
  • Offer and conduct salary discussions - Salary discussion in Norwegian - English.
  • Offer and conduct annual employee discussions

This phase aims to reflect on the onboarding process, address ongoing requirements, and continue providing support and development opportunities for the employee as they progress in their role within the organization.
