Pilot: Order your access card before you start

UiO is developing a new way of issuing access cards for employees. To ensure that the service works well, we are testing it on a selection, before it is rolled out for all new employees. Order the access card before you start and collect it on your first day.

How to proceed

  1. Have the username you received on SMS or email ready.
  2. Set a password at passord.uio.no (choose New user).
  3. Have your valid passport or national ID card ready.
  4. Download the mobile app "UiO ID" from App Store (apps.apple.com) or Google Play (play.google.com).
  5. Open the app and choose New employee.
  6. Follow the instructions in the app.The photo from the passport or national ID card will be used on the access card.
  7. You can collect the access card from your first day of work. Remember to bring valid ID.

Opening hours at the Card Centre

If you cannot or do not want to use the UiO ID app, you must have your picture taken at the Card Center. Remember to bring valid ID.
