Who are we?

The Green Office strives to be an arena for students and employees who have ideas about how UiO as both a place of study and work can become more sustainable. Together we can make a difference! Our?Annual Report?is a proof of that!

Groups in Green office

At Green Office, we organise our work into four categories closely linked to the main objectives of UiO's comprehensive climate and environmental strategy: Organisation, Research and Education, Dialogue and Communication, and Climate and Green Campus.

Climate and Green Campus

The Climate and Green Campus group is working to make the campus greener, more biodiverse and more sustainable, and to make it easier for students and staff at UiO to make environmentally conscious choices.

Dissemination and Dialogue

The Dissemination and Dialogue group is working to improve communication about sustainability and develop dialogue and cooperation with external actors, from activist groups to the business community and other universities.

Education and Research

The Education and Sustainability group is working to put sustainability on the agenda in teaching and research at the various faculties and institutes around the University of Oslo.

Organisation

The Organisation group is working to embed sustainability in UiO's organisational culture and improve cooperation on sustainability and environmental issues between the various units at the university.
