The Impact of Generative AI on Political Knowledge and Democracy

His research highlighted concerns such as misinformation, echo chambers, and polarisation—while also exploring how AI can be used to strengthen democratic engagement.

How do we communicate with language models?

Linguists Ingrid Lossius Falkum and Nicholas Allott followed with an exploration of how humans perceive and interact with large language models (LLMs). They raised key philosophical and empirical questions about whether we attribute human-like characteristics to chatbots and how this influences communication.
