    Nearly 100 people gathered at the Science Library to hear theoretical physicist Morten Hjorth-Jensen share his ideas on the intersection of quantum technology and artificial intelligence. The event set a new attendance record for the dScience Lunch Seminar series. A video recording of the seminar is now available.

  • Networking and Knowledge Sharing at the DSTrain Workshop Mar. 27, 2025 8:00 AM

    On March 17–18, the DSTrain Workshop gathered postdoctoral researchers and invited speakers at Thon Hotel Opera in Oslo for two days focused on open science, data sharing, and interdisciplinary research.

What is Computational Science and Data Science?

Computational science is about the development of methods and algorithms to solve and understand complex phenomena and problems. Data science is about the development of methods, algorithms and systems to organize, refine and extract knowledge from data. dScience merges computational science and data science.
