The workshop began with opening remarks from Bj?rn Jamtveit, Vice Dean for Research at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, followed by a presentation from Morten D?hlen, Centre Leader for dScience – Centre for Computational and Data Science.

Professor Morten D?hlen, Centre Leader, dScience – Centre for Computational and Data Science.

The program featured presentations from the DSTrain Postdoctoral Fellows, who gave short overviews of their research across a range of fields. These sessions provided useful insight into ongoing work and created opportunities for discussion and exchange.

Open Science and Data Sharing

Interdisciplinary Collaboration

The theme of interdisciplinary collaboration was addressed by speakers Thordis Linda Thorarinsdottir, Bastiaan Star, Gaute Einevoll, and DSTrain programme leader Arne Bang Huseby. Their talks explored both the benefits and challenges of working across disciplinary boundaries.

Networking

In addition to the formal program, there was time set aside for networking, including a group visit to the Munch Museum and a dinner at Stock Restaurant. These activities helped foster connections among participants across fields.

The workshop was organised by Martha Elisabeth Brigg, Arne Bang Huseby, and Cecilie Ellefsen, and provided a structured setting for knowledge sharing and professional exchange.
