The annual November Conference is an essential date for your diary if you’re looking to develop a joint Norwegian–Brazilian research and innovation project within energy transition.
Over three days, the conference brings together 150-200 researchers, academics, business professionals, government representatives and decision makers from Norway and Brazil to collaborate, develop joint projects, exchange ideas, and seek research funding across all fields within energy transition.
- Join a mix of plenary and parallel sessions to address the current opportunities and challenges in energy transition from different angles.

- Meet and network with over 150 industry professionals and identify new opportunities for closer cooperation.

Practical information
- Format. This is a physical conference. After the pandemic, we invest in in-person meetings and mingling.
- Language. English. Due to budgetary limits, no translation service will be offered.
- Conference hotel. Hotel Windsor Florida is located in the Catete neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro. It’s close to the Santos Dumont airport and the Flamengo beach, next to the Catete metro station, a beautiful park and several interesting museums.

Other hotels might be more convenient. Due to heavy traffic morning and afternoon, we recommend participants to stay close to a metro station or not too far away from the conference hotel. - Connected events. Several connected events and visits are being planned. More info will come.
