In January 2022, NORA (Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Research Consortium) was awarded a national research school for AI (2022-2029) by the Research Council of Norway. Under the research school framework, NORA will organize various activities including intensive courses and exchange programs for PhD students focused on AI. Membership in NORA's Research School is free and open to any PhD student from Norway with a project related to artificial intelligence, machine learning and/or robotics.
At this seminar, Klas Pettersen (CEO, NORA) and Arnoldo Frigessi (Professor, Department of Biostatistics) would like to share their thoughts about the research school and have a discussion with the seminar participants to engage students and receive their input.

About the seminar series
Once a month, dScience will invite you to join us for lunch, soft drinks and professional talks at the Science Library. In addition to these, we will serve lunch to PhD candidates in our lounge in Kristine Bonnevies hus every Thursday. Due to limited space (40 people), this will be first come, first served. See how to find us here (download).
Our lounge can also be booked by PhDs and Postdocs on a regular basis, whether it is for a meeting or just to hang out – we have fresh coffee all day long! Read more about the seminar series here.
