UiO opens second call for DSTrain Fellowships

The University of Oslo (UiO) is now accepting applications for the second call of DSTrain postdoctoral fellowships. Up to 18 positions are available for researchers in computational and natural sciences. The fellowships start in autumn 2025.

About DSTrain

DSTrain, managed by dScience - Centre for Computational and Data Science at The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UiO, is co-funded by the EU Horizon Europe through the MSCA program. It supports interdisciplinary research combining data science, computational methods, and natural sciences.

Fellows will receive three years of funding, excellent supervision, and opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must:

  • Hold or have defended a PhD in fields such as astrophysics, biosciences, chemistry, or technology systems.
  • Meet MSCA mobility rules (no more than 12 months in Norway in the last three years).
