Admission

Students who are admitted to study programmes at UiO must each semester register which courses and exams they wish to sign up for in Studentweb.

If you are not already enrolled as a student at UiO, please see our information about admission requirements and procedures.

Teaching

Instruction is given in the form of weekly lectures. Throughout the entire spring term, there will be obligatory PBL-groups for students in the Bachelor’s programme in Special Needs Education, along with voluntary seminars for students who are only enrolled in the course. Both the PBL groups and the seminars are based to a large degree on student activity.

Examination

Obligatory components:
A written individual theoretical assignment delivered to the department or an oral presentation in seminar must be approved before the student can take the examination. For students enrolled in the Special Needs Education programme (who are also taking the course SPED2020), participation and presentation in PBL groups counts as delivery of the individual theoretical assignment.

More information about this will be available at the start of each term.

Examination:
The examination consists of a 6-hour long written individual test at the end of the spring term. The grade is awarded on an alphabetic scale from A to F, with A to E for passing. A is the best grade and F is fail.
