This is an invitation to participate in a periodic course evaluation for ECON4620 - Public Economics. The periodic course evaluation is in addition to the evaluation that has already taken place earlier this semester and is somewhat more extensive.

The evaluation is done on the internet and the deadline for giving your answer is December 15. Please note that there are questions concerning exams, so preferably you should not answer this form until after your exam.

1. Participants in the excursion to the Ministry of Finance who have not yet registered can do that during the lecture on 29 Oct. or send an email to vidar.christiansen@econ.uio.no as soon as possible. Please. remember to bring an id when going to the Ministry.

2. The next seminar will be on November 10.

Vidar Christiansen must cancel office hours on 22 and 29 October but will be available Monday 20th and Monday 27th 14:00 - 15:00.

1) We will visit the Ministry of Finance on Friday 7 November at 10:00 a.m. (until about 12:30). Registration of participants during lectures.

2) Please, read also Salanie pp. 123-129 when preparing for 15 October.

When reading S?rensen: Neutral taxation .... you can give priority to sections 1- 4.2 and 4.4 in the article version.

In week 41 the main topic will be public goods but, please, also read Sandmo and Christiansen (corporate tax).

When preparing for week 39, please, give priority to Atkinson and Stiglitz and Edwards, Keen and Tuomala.
