Some answers to Problem Set #6 are available under "Seminars".
This is an invitation to participate in a periodic course evaluation for ECON4335 - The economics of banking. The periodic course evaluation is in addition to the evaluation that has already taken place earlier this semester and is somewhat more extensive.
The evaluation is done on the internet and the deadline for giving your answer is June 10. Please note that there are questions concerning the exam, so preferably you should not answer this form until after your exam.

Problem Set 6 is now available. Unfortunately there is an error under problem c in Question 2 - see the corrected version under Teaching material.

Remember the extra lecture on banking crises Monday 22 March at 12:15 and note that it is in Auditorium 7. Slides will not be available before the lecture.
Seminar at Norges Bank / Finanstilsynet March 25. Students who have not signed up yet can do that at the lecture tomorrow (March 16) or, if absent then, by sending a mail with their name to asbjorn.rodseth@econ.uio.no no later than Monday March 22.

Under "Seminars" you will find three solutions/answers to problem 3 of set 2 presented on this week's seminars. (During next week some answers/solutions to Problems 1&2 in set 2 will be available.)
Seminars moved. The two parallell seminars scheduled for week 12 (March 23 and 25) are moved to week 14 (April 6 and 8). Same place and time of day.
Excursion to Norges Bank and the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway Students in ECON4335 will be invited to a seminar on Thursday 25 March, starting at 12.15. Speakers will come from the two institutions, and the seminar will take place in their premises at Bankplassen 2. Further information on the (curriculum related) program and on how to sign up for the seminar will come in the beginning of March.

Some issues related to problem set 1 is now available under "Seminars".
I will prepare a paper that is correcting some confusion (of mine) related to the model presented in the second part of the lecture on last Tuesday. (Available tomorrow.) I will also prepare a short paper related to problem 3 in problem set 1, as well as a moral hazard model with continuous choice of effort, related to problem 1 in the first set. (Available tomorrow.)
Problem set no. 2 (for week 9) is now available. Some students on the Thursday-group (2 - 4 students) should prepare a short paper ( 2 - 3 pages) related to sub-problem 3 in this set. Please give (or send by e-mail) the paper to Jon Vislie - room 1214 - before 1200 on Thursday March 4.)
