Expected preparations for the first Matlab crash-course session (Wed Aug 19):

• Read notes1.pdf and answer questions 1, 2 and 3 on pp. 7-10.

• We have compiled a short list of useful Matlab references: matlab_links.pdf. For students with none or limited previous experience with computers, we recommend 'En kort innf?ring i Matlab' for Norwegian-speaking students and the 'Introduction to Matlab' by Monique Ebell for non-Norwegian-speaking students.
