The time for the exam is approaching and I guess some of you may have questions. I will be in office monday, wednesday and thursday next week if you want to come by and ask them. However, If you want the best answer you should email me your question first so that I can be prepared.

OLS assumptions

I got some questions about the OLS assumptions in the multiple linear regression model. As I chose to depart a bit from the book I decided to post a short note on the OLS assumptions here.

Typo in add.E9.2

in question a. it should be "Discuss the internal validity of the regressions that you used to answer empirical exercise add.E8.2(i)" instead of "Discuss the internal validity of the regressions that you used to answer Empirical Exercise 8.3(i)".

Change in Lecture Plan

Please note that we have made the following changes to the Lecture Plan:

-  The 2 lectures on 23 February have been cancelled due to illness.

- The lecture on 2 March at 8.15 will be about chapter 7 of Stock and Watson. 

- The lecture on 2 March at 12.15 will be about chapter 8 of Stock and Watson.
