Problems for Wednesday 4th

The Wednesday 4th lecture will be "half seminar, half lecture". For problems, I recycle from the old days; it is quite a bit of work if you have to put considerable effort into every question, but in that case you certainly need to do some work to review things you should know already. 

This problem set from last semester: 

• Will not be covered in class (... to avoid messing up enumeration with different books ...) unless requested.

This problem set from spring 2007: 

• Problems 1 through 3 are for review, you should be able to do them without anything from Math2, will not be covered unless requested.
• Problem 4 might be covered, but not high priority unless requested: as far as I understand we might want to focus on integrals.

This problem set, also from spring 2007: 

• Problem 1 might be covered, but not high priority.
• Problem 2 is review if you catch the trick - which I will cover.
• Problem 3: in part review, or if you do not remember: lecture #1 should enable you.

From the compendium of old exam-type problems do problems 119 (easy if you keep track of the definitions!) and 118.
