Problems for seminar #1

  • Problems, all from the compendium: 18, 100, 107, 117 and 123.?
    • Extra if you want to be ahead of the subsequent week's seminar: Problems 94 and 127.
  • We expect you to have attempted all problems assigned (that is, not the "extra" ones) prior to the seminar; one could easily get fooled into thinking a problem is easy, if one only sees someone else do it.
  • Compared to last year's seminar #1 problems, I have replaced 32 and 97 (which take time) with two problems from last year's seminar #2 problems. Those problems will be assigned next, when a week is teaching-free and you have more time.
  • I have written the seminar problems into the schedule, as curriculum to the seminars. I think you should be able to see it in your calendars.
