Problem 3: Use the ?Selected Indicators? from the World Development Report to find the richest and poorest countries in the world. What measure of "rich" should you use, and does this choice affect your answer?

Problem 4: Use the Human Development Report 2007/2008 to find the most developed and least developed countries according to the Human Development Index. Discuss to what extent this is a measure of whether the countries in question are developed.

Problem 5: Use the Human Development Report 2007/2008. Try to find examples of countries that are rich, but have a low HDI. What characterize these countries? Try also to find poor countries with high HDI. What characterize these countries? Relate this to the column labeled "GDP per capita rank minus HDI rank".
