When you hand in the Oslo project: All goup members have to sign a declaration saying that they accept that the project is ready to be handed in.

Oslo Project deadline extended to Monday, Dec. 19th! Color printouts can be made in the geography department (see email sent out on 13.12.05).

To clarify: The labs will not count in your final grade, except that you need to complete them to pass the course! The "+ = -" that Hallvard gives you is just for feedback so you know how you did in relation to his expections.

A "GIS Club" is being formed, and a planning meeting will be held on Tuesday, 6 December (13.00 - 14.00) in room 201, Harriet Holters Hus. This may be of interest to those of you who would like to continue learning about and using GIS. More information will be sent out to all by email.

The GIS lab in Harriet Holters Hus will be open extra hours until December 15: Tuesday: 14.15 - 18.00 Wednesday: 12.15 - 14.00 Friday: 10.15 - 14.00

Please note that the final exam will be available in both Norwegian and English, and you can write it in either language. The Oslo Project and papers can also be written in either language.

In week 47 (November 21st-November 25th) the GPSs for the Oslo Project are available at office 239 at the Department of Sociology and Human Geography.

eSeminar today - 17.11.05! "Putting the e into GI Science" (Mark Birkin, Leeds). It will be held in the library (Georg Sverdups Hus, room 3514)at 17.00.

GPSs for the Oslo Project are available in the geography reception (Harriet Holters Hus room 244). The reception is only open from 12-15. The SporTrack is available this weekend (with PC cable) - the two new ones will be available on Monday. Please sign out and return as soon as you are done. If you have to buy new batteries, please bring me the receipt for reimbursement!

Midterm quiz 2 will cover chapters 6, 9, 10, and 14. I will not take anything out of 15 for the quiz! Chapter 15, 12 and 18 will be covered on the final.

Do you need some extra time to work on you lab assignments? Room 035 Harriet Holters hus is open for students at SGO1910/SGO4030 every Tuesday 16.15-18.00 (not September 27th) and every Wednesday 12.15-14.00 (not September 14th and September 28th), starting tomorrow and ending on the 30th of November.

Seminar group number 4 will take place in English. The rest of the seminar groups will take place in Norwegian.
