Learning outcome

Quality of interventions in the health care is increasingly focused worldwide. This course penetrates the numerous aspects of quality within the health care services with special emphasis on the quality of medical and caring interventions delivered to the patients. Various ways to measure and evaluate quality will be discussed in depth, as well as conditions influencing the quality. At the end of the course students should be qualified to develop programs that evaluate and improve the quality of the services, included documentation of standards set by the health authorities.

Language of examination

All written exams and term papers at the master's programme in Health Economics, Policy and Management have to be conducted in English.
