The curriculum of the course is comprised by the entire compendium, except for
- Chapter 9.5 "Longitudinalbølger i elastisk stav".
- The exampe on the torsion-pendulum at page 73. (The rest of section 9.6 is part of the syllabus.)
- Chapter 9.7 "Bøyning av bjelker".
- Detailed reproduction of the rheological models as discussed in items (i) through (iv) on pages 45-47 will not be required.
- Chapter 11.9.
Chapter 7 of P. C. Matthews, Vector Calculus
All problems which are given for the classes are also part of the curriculum, including problems from the compendium and problems from previous exams.
