The lectures will be based on:
Vittinghoff, Shiboski, Glidden og McCulloch (2012, 2nd edition). Regression methods in biostatistics. Linear, logistic, survival, and repeated measures models. Springer-Verlag. ISBN: 978-0-387-20275-4. The first edition can also be used as textbook.
The book is available as ebook (2nd edition, 1st edition) if you are working on a computer at the University of Oslo.
The relevant parts of the book may be seen from the plan for Lectures. (For the second part of course you will get a more detailed impression also looking at last years lectures).
All material covered by the lectures or as exercises (including the compulsory assignment) is part of the curriculum.
The exam will consist of a project paper followed by a written exam. A satisfactory solution of the compulsory assignment is a requirement to take the exam (project paper + written exam).
