The grades from the oral exam have now been submitted to the administration. You will get the grades via Studentweb, or if you're curious, you can ask the study administration via e-mail.

If you would like, you may request an explanation of your grade via e-mail to either kristrd@math.uio.no or arne@math.uio.no on the same day as the grade is announced.

Congratulations on finishing the course, and have a very happy summer!

The oral exam in STK4400 will be held on May 25th and May 26th via Zoom (due to the large number of students).

The exam will last approximately 30 minutes per student.

You will receive an e-mail within a few days with more information about your particular time-slot as well as the Zoom-link.

If you have any further questions, feel free to contact arne@math.uio.no or kristrd@math.uio.no.

Best of luck in your preparations!

As usual, there will be an oral examination in this course. Due to the large number of students this year, the exam will be held on two consecutive days. The final dates for the exam has not yet been confirmed by the Faculty, but we expect that it will in week 21, most likely on May 25th and 26th. We also remind you that the deadline for withdrawing from the exam is May 1st.

We need to appoint a student representative for the course. There is typically very little or no work associated with being a student representative. However, if the students have issues regarding the lectures or exercises, the student representative can forward questions to the lecturers.

Due to the pandemic, we ask that anyone interested in becoming the student representative to send an email to Arne Bang Huseby. The first one to do so will be appointed, so do not hesitate! The deadline is February 15th.

Due to the current corona virus restrictions, the physical lecture planned for next week (summarising the lectures so far) will be digitalised. A lecture recording will be uploaded. Please feel free to send questions to me via e-mail (kristrd@math.uio.no) as a substitute for the Q/A.

Sincerely, Kristina.

Due to the current corona virus situation, we will make recordings of all lectures in STK4400/9400 this spring semester. The curriculum of the course is naturally divided into different topics. At the end of each topic, we will have a physical lecture session where the topic is summarised, and those present can ask questions etc. This web-page will be updated throughout the semester, and contains all relevant information regarding the course.

If you have questions, feel free to get in touch!
