Welcome! + The first week of lectures

Welcome to STK4021 - Applied Bayesian Analysis! I very much look forward to lecturing you this autumn.

Regarding the first week of lectures: Please note that the first two lectures will be on:

• Monday August 21 14:15 - 16:00 (NHA, Undervisningsrom 1020)
• Monday August 28 14:15 - 16:00 (NHA, Undervisningsrom 1020)

This means that the Tuesday and Thursday lectures the first week are cancelled. From August 29 and onward, lectures will be on:

• Tuesdays 14:15-16:00 (NHA, Undervisningsrom UE26)
• Thursdays 10:15 - 12:00 (VB, Seminarrom 123)

The syllabus for the course is collected in a compendium of lecture notes, the first chapters of which will be published here on the course website shortly. These will contain both theory and accompanying exercises. I encourage you all to attempt the exercises in your own time, before seeing the solutions presented in class. We will also cover the coding examples in lectures.
