Welcome to STK3405/4405 fall 2022

This year we hope that most of the teaching would be given as an ordinary lecture in a seminar room, possibly with a few exceptions that will be announced in due time. Note that a revised version of the textbook is now available here. Quite a lot of new material has been added especially programming examples in python. This also implies that there are substantial parts of the textbook that will not be included in the curriculum. A tentative description of the curriculum will be available shortly.
