NB!! Important information about the exam

As you know, there will be a digital home exam in STK2130 this year. The exam will take place on Friday June 4th, 15.00-19.00. Make sure that you check out the Inspera page in good time before the exam, so you know that you have everything under control.

The contents of the exam will be similar to previous exams, both with respect to the amount of work and the difficulty of the questions. This year, however, all available notes and books are permitted aids during the exam. As a preparation for the exam we strongly recommend that you try to solve previous exams. In particular, we suggest that you go through the exam from 2020, which can be found here. This version also includes solutions, but you should try to solve the problems yourself before you read the suggested answers. Note, however, that the exam from 2020 was a much longer exam than usual since the candidates had a whole week to complete the task. This year's exam will be much shorter.

IMPORTANT! In case you have questions during the exam, you can contact the lecturer by email arne@math.uio.no. In order to get the fastest response we recommend that you submit your questions between 16:00 and 17:00. Thus, it may be a good idea to read through all the problems and have your questions ready at 16:00.
